Mount Atlas' sbubbling sound of the Hammond ergan, their rough guitar riffs as well as the floating melodies will bring you back to the 70s and 80s. At the same time, they manage to maintain their individual sonority. They alternate between sperical sounds and heavy doom riffs, which sound as if played whilst wearing equally heavy leather jackets.
"...while most of the retro bands fades through misty forests, the Northern Lights of Mount Atlas deliever crispy riffs after riffs, as well as smacky Hammond sounds ... if you ike old heroes as well as honest rock and metal-workers like Spiritual Beggars or Grand Magnus, you should grab one..."

lyrics
Maybe gentil maybe nice
Sometimes Jekyll, sometimes Hyde
roll the dice
I'm a Giant and I'm a Dwarf
Sometimes leading, sometimes not
Right now I’m God
Live brings out my evil...
Love brings out my evil...
Side
I‘ve been dreeming all nigt long
U will leave, dead and gone
Please go on
First the poor boy not owning a shoe
Now the kong of the world who wants to be amused
By hanging you on a spruce
You brings out my evil...
You brings out my evil...

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points.
This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
