Mount Atlas' sbubbling sound of the Hammond ergan, their rough guitar riffs as well as the floating melodies will bring you back to the 70s and 80s. At the same time, they manage to maintain their individual sonority. They alternate between sperical sounds and heavy doom riffs, which sound as if played whilst wearing equally heavy leather jackets.
"...while most of the retro bands fades through misty forests, the Northern Lights of Mount Atlas deliever crispy riffs after riffs, as well as smacky Hammond sounds ... if you ike old heroes as well as honest rock and metal-workers like Spiritual Beggars or Grand Magnus, you should grab one..." (Ox-Magazine)

lyrics
Hello my darling
U seem so sad
What is the matter
Here is your drink young lad
You will feel better
Here is the key
Open in new World
Where Magic sets you free
Let me Taste freedom
Pour in some more
I want to dive in
Explore my new minds core
Fulfill my dreams
Let me embrace the Gold in you
The Kiss so sweet
Purple Wasps - Delicious fruit
This is colossal. I’ve been enjoying these guys for years but this album is next level. They seemed to have found their stride & it’s a biggin’. I feel that they’re heading into the Groove/Rock Genre of Clutch but still carry that epic, larger-than-life sound you’d expect from Zeppelin or later era Soundgarden. Their sound is tighter than a fish’s ass (and that’s water tight) & whatever these guys are doing; I’m loving it. And…the vocals are so, so, so good! I’m excited for their next outing. Harry Harrison
Recently discovered this band. IF their back catalogue, is as great as this I'll be adding them to my collection.
To my ears they sound like someone has blended early black sabbath with led zepplin's bluesier albums. A much welcome trip to the 70s hard blues heavy metal. welshwizzardd
Fantastic album from front to back! Incredibly catchy, fuzzy riffs, great songwriting and powerful lyricism.
A classic of modern heavy psych / stoner music! Brett
